City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Dept. joins People for Parks in expanding parks access via Community School Parks.

City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Dept. joins People for Parks in expanding parks access via Community School Parks (CSPs). PFP worked closely with the City to design its pilot program for schoolyard programming and community organizing. We are thrilled to have the City utilize our Community School Parks model to create new, much-needed opportunities for neighborhood recreation and play.

For its pilot program, the City is supporting four campuses: Harvard Elementary, Cahuenga St. Elementary, Leo Politi Elementary, and 75th Street Elementary. The campuses are in full swing, open every Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm with activities and games for all ages.
